Cocktail: Original Cinnamon Roll

My wife is a Cinnamon Roll FIEND, which means that whenever we make them I have to hold her off with a wooden spoon until I can get one. Ok, maybe it's not quite that bad, but since she rarely raids my liquor-shelf (yes I have a booze-bookshelf) this one is all my own.

Whilst test driving the new Original Cinn, some friends and I threw this tasty little drink together and I think it was a great success. Believe it or not it actually tastes exactly like a cinnamon roll. Well except for the flakey crust...oh and the frosting....or and the chewy center that you save until the last minute when you plunge yourself into cinnamon EXTASY....ok, maybe it's not that much like a real Cinnamon roll. But it's got booze!

The Original Cinnamon Roll

1 1/2 oz Canadian Whisky

1 oz Tuaca (or a similar vanilla liqueur)

1/2 oz Original Cinn (Don't let me see any damn gold flakes in yours)

Toss all of these into your shaking device but DONT SHAKE IT. Remember that cocktails that don't include natural clouding ingredients like fruit juices should be STIRRED. Strain into a cocktail glass and, if you've got it, top it with something fancy.  Maybe a real cinnamon roll - that would make a sweet garnish. You could try bourbon in this instead of Canadian Whisky. It worked so well the first time we figured: "why mess with a good thing?"
